Combine the lubrication of the harvester

1. Lubricate according to the recommended intervals, using the correct type of grease for each component. Always follow the manufacturer's specifications for lubrication points and quantities.

2. Ensure that all tools and equipment used for lubrication are clean to prevent contamination. Before applying grease, clean the grease nipple, lubrication ports, and surrounding areas to remove dirt and old grease. This helps ensure proper lubricant flow and prevents damage to components.

3. Regularly monitor the temperature of bushings, bearings, and other frictional parts during operation. If you notice oil leakage from seals or an abnormally high operating temperature, address the issue immediately by repairing and re-lubricating the affected area.

4. When lubricating the sprocket and chain, make sure the machine is turned off. Remove any dirt or debris from the chain before evenly applying the lubricant. This ensures smooth operation and extends the life of the chain.

5. The release bearing and bushing in the clutch should be disassembled and lubricated annually. This maintenance task is essential for ensuring smooth engagement and disengagement of the clutch system.

6. After completing a test run or prolonged operation of the combine harvester, check and replace or filter the gear oil and engine oil as needed. It’s recommended to inspect the oil level and condition at least once a week. If oil leaks or low levels are detected, address them immediately to avoid mechanical failure.

7. Before installation, immerse wooden bearing tiles used in the reel and other parts in oil heated to 120°C–130°C for two hours. After soaking, apply fresh grease and install them properly to ensure smooth operation and reduce wear.

8. Make sure to fill all lubrication points completely with grease. If the grease does not go in easily, rotate the moving parts while applying pressure until the grease is fully distributed and the chamber is filled.

9. During routine maintenance, clean all lubrication points, detachable bearings, bushings, and slides with appropriate cleaning agents. Once cleaned, refill them with the correct type of lubricant before reassembling the components.

10. After every three months of operation, remove all oil-bearing bearings and soak them in hot oil for two hours. This process helps to flush out contaminants and replenish the lubricant, ensuring long-term performance and reliability.
