Clivia's Attempt to "Wet"

I love Clivia nearly 20 years. After many years of cultivation practices, I broke the cultivation method of avoiding drought and drought in the past and adopted the “wet-keeping” method on the balcony to keep the basin soil in a long-term wet state. Practice has proved that the growth is excellent. The specific approach is to make 3-5 cm high white iron plate, place the side of the balcony, and provide a small number of dishes. Porcelain dishes, bowls, etc. can also be used. Inside, 1cm thick thick sand is placed, and potted clivia is placed on top. Every other week or so, the pot is filled with water and the basin is kept dry for a long time. I have used this method for nearly two years and found that Clivia not only has no rot, but also has a lot of roots, whiteness and stoutness. The leaves that grow are bright and light, wide and short. The reason why this kind of satisfactory effect will appear is that, in my opinion, the first method is to improve the porosity and permeability of the basin. The key to the cultivation of Clivia should be to keep the potted soil loose and breathable. By adopting this method, soil compaction problems caused by basin surface watering are avoided in the past. Although the roots of Clivia vulgaris have been exposed to moisture for a long period of time, due to loose soil, the roots are not obstructed and rot. The second is to improve the hot living environment on the balcony. Clivia native to South Africa's mountain forests, like the warm, moist living environment. The balcony is often poorly maintained due to hot air. After adopting this method, a higher air humidity is created, which can reduce the temperature in the summer and increase the temperature in the winter, maintaining a good warm and humid environment. The third is to change the situation of drought and flooding in basin soil. In the past, I used the traditional cultivation method on the balcony, often because of poor control of the amount of water, resulting in the clivia when the drought, especially in a drought condition for a long time, the roots of Clivia are not rotten or dried up, the leaves often appear lesions. After the “wet culture” is adopted, the basin soil absorbs water from the bottom to the top, and when dry, it absorbs and the wetness naturally stops. Therefore, neither drought nor excessive water supply will ensure the uniform water supply of the Clivia to the growth pole. good.

Release Film

DM products are direct silicone coated polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyester (PET), and polystyrene (PS) films with either one or two-sided release options. In addition to standard one and two-sided silicone coatings, we offer very stable one and two-sided siliconized liner with the option to use solvent-based or solventless chemistries. This product line is ideal for certain uses in the medical, industrial, and composites industries.

Polypropylene (PP)
High temperature resistance
Good conformability
Available in several colors
Thicknesses from 28 microns

Polyester (PET)
High tensile and tear resistance
High temperature and solvent resistance
Thickness 12 - 190 microns

High-density polyethylene (HDPE)
Rigid with good tensile and tear resistance
Better temperature resistance than LDPE
Available in several colors
Thickness 25-125 microns
Medium-density polyethylene (MDPE)
Good temperature resistance (better than LDPE, but lower than HDPE)
Good conformability
Available in several colors
Thicknesses from 40-200 microns
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE)
Low solvent and heat resistance
Good conformability
Available in several colors
Thickness 70-125 microns
