Summer management of crabs

Summer is the peak season for crabs, and it is also a frequent occurrence of crab diseases. Therefore, it is very important to do well in summer feeding management and disease prevention of crabs. Feed intake of crabs has a close relationship with water temperature. After entering the summer, the water temperature is high, the crabs grow vigorously, the clam shells are frequent, and the food intake is large. It is necessary to strengthen the nutrition, and it is necessary to feed as much as possible with animal feeds. If the conditions are not available, artificial diets with higher quality can also be fed. The daily feeding amount is 7% to 10% of the total weight of the crab body. The feed is given twice a day. It is shot from 6 am to 8 am, and the feeding amount accounts for 1/3 of the daily feeding amount; it is 6 o'clock in the evening. Refeed 2/3 of the total amount of daily feed to feed the crabs at night. The quality of the water pool for regulating water quality is better with cleanliness and rich dissolved oxygen. The amount of dissolved oxygen in the pool should be above 5 mg/l and the pH should be 7-9. Due to the high temperature in the summer and the deterioration of the water quality, it is necessary to adjust the water quality in time according to the above indicators. Change the water once every 3 days to 4 days, and change the amount of water for each time to 1/3 to 1/2 of the total amount of pool water. It should be noted that the temperature difference between the injected fresh water and the original pool water should not exceed 3°C to 5°C, and the water injected into the crab pool should be filtered through a dense polyethylene net. When the water quality is too fat and it is inconvenient to change the water, splash lime water can be used to improve the water quality. Usually, every 1/15 ha of lime is used for 10 kg to 15 kg of lime every time. After the water is added, the whole pool is splashed. Disease prevention and control (1) black shank disease. The diseased crabs were infected with discoloration in their crotch part, and the part of the cocoon was dark gray or black, and the action was slow. During the day, it remained still by the pool. In severe cases, the crotch was grayish black. The onset time is from July to September, especially the incidence of crabs. The main cause of the disease is the bad aquaculture environment, the pool water spoilage, and the harmful bacteria multiply, resulting in crab disease. Control methods: Remove the residue leftovers in the food field every day and regularly disinfect the food field with quicklime. Continuous use of quicklime water to sprinkling the entire pool 2 to 3 times, each time 1/15 hectares with quick lime 10kg ~ 15kg. (2) ciliate disease. There are a large number of ciliates on the legs, head and chest, abdomen, and four pairs of stepped crabs. After the disease occurs, the diseased crabs can die in a large number of days. The etiology is caused by the high temperature of the water, and the harmful propagation of harmful algae and ciliates in the pool water and its attachment to the crab body. Prevention methods: Improve the water environment, add new water, and increase the depth of the pool water to 1.5m. In addition, quicklime water can be splashed in Quanchipia, and 15kg of quicklime is used every 1/15 ha. It is also possible to splash formalin in the whole pool, so that the pool water concentration reaches 210 negative six powers.

Therapeutic heating pads usually operate from household current and must have protection against overheating.

A moist Heating Pad is used dry on the user's skin. These pads register temperatures from 76 to 82 °C (169 to 180 °F) and are intended for deep tissue treatment and can be dangerous if left on unattended. Moist Heating Pads are used mainly by physical therapists but can be found for home use. A moist cloth can be added with a stupe cover to add more moisture to the treatment.
