Pneumatic ball valves are extensively used across various industries such as natural gas, oil, chemical, metallurgy, paper, power, mining, printing and dyeing, biopharmaceuticals, household chemicals, food and beverage, water treatment, and air treatment systems. They are also commonly applied in automated pneumatic instruments, offering reliable performance and efficient fluid control.
The series of pneumatic ball valves is designed with several advanced features:
â—† **Pneumatic Actuator**: These valves are equipped with the latest GT-type pneumatic actuators, available in both double-acting and single-acting (spring return) configurations. The rack and pinion transmission ensures a safe and stable operation. For larger diameter valves, HAW-type fork-style pneumatic actuators are used, providing a reasonable structure, high torque output, and flexibility in operation. For more details, refer to our actuator sample.
◆ **Shell Structure**: The fixed ball valve body can be manufactured in three different structures—casting, forging, or all-welded—depending on user requirements and working conditions. All-welded structures are ideal for underground installations.
â—† **Unique Seat Sealing Design**:
Floating ball valves use a lip-type elastic sealing ring to ensure reliable sealing, especially under low, ultra-low, or vacuum conditions. A leaf spring-loaded seat design guarantees long-term sealing performance. For medium and high-temperature applications, the seat material can be selected from para-polyphenylene or metal options.
Fixed ball valves offer front sealing, rear sealing, or dual-seal configurations based on pressure, media properties, and sealing requirements. Again, para-polyphenylene or metal materials are available for high-temperature environments.
â—† **Drainage and Blockage**: When the valve is closed, the upstream and downstream seats block the flow. Any accumulated liquid in the valve cavity can be drained through a dedicated drainage system.
â—† **Automatic Pressure Relief**: In case of abnormal pressure buildup in the middle chamber, the medium itself can push the valve seat to release pressure automatically, ensuring the safety and integrity of the valve.
â—† **Reliable Stem Sealing**: The stem uses an inverted seal design that increases sealing force with rising medium pressure, preventing leakage even under abnormal conditions. This design also prevents the stem from being ejected.
â—† **Fireproof Design**: Based on user requirements and operating conditions, these valves can be customized with fireproof structures. They comply with API607 and JB/T6899 standards. In the event of a fire, the fireproof design minimizes media leakage and prevents fire spread.
â—† **Anti-static Feature**: During operation, friction between the ball and seat may generate static electricity. An anti-static device is integrated into the valve to safely discharge this charge and prevent dangerous sparks.
◆ **Full-bore and Reduced-diameter Options**: To meet diverse user needs, the company offers two types of ball valves—full-bore and reduced-diameter. Full-bore valves have the same internal diameter as the pipeline, making them easy to clean. Reduced-diameter valves are lighter and have lower flow resistance, approximately 1/7 that of a standard gate valve, making them widely applicable in many industrial settings.
These features make our pneumatic ball valves a versatile and reliable choice for a wide range of applications. Whether you need a compact solution or a heavy-duty system, we have the right product for you.
