Economic Benefits and Planting Techniques of Fruit Cane

Xiao Xinhua, Agricultural Technology Station of Suxi Town, Taihe County, Jiangxi Province, planting fruit cane with low input, high yield, and no risk is a good project to adjust the planting structure. The production of sugarcane in Suxi Town, Taihe County, Jiangxi Province began in 1991. Pengchong 13 farmers such as Pengjiahong introduced successfully from Guangdong. Through the technical guidance of our station, after several years of continuous development, the area of the town has reached 133.3hm2, becoming another new cropping industry after Su Li’s production. The economic benefits of planting cane and planting techniques are described below: I. Economic advantages (A) crisp and sweet, good market prospects through the planting test proved that fruit cane north after the performance of the leather book, section length, slag, sweet, crisp, juicy, sugar content of 13% to 14%, excellent taste. Single stem weight can reach more than 2kg, quality and yield are no less than the origin. Due to the continuous expansion of market sales in recent years, and the extension of the storage period after the south cane is moved northwards (can be stored until the Spring Festival period), although the planting area of fruit cane has increased in various regions, it is far from meeting market demand. Therefore, planting Fruit cane has an excellent market prospect. (II) Good production and stable price, high planting efficiency The planted fruit cane 1hm2 needs to invest about 12,000 yuan, the yield of 1hm2 is about 105 tons, and the 1hm2 field with high management level can reach more than 150 tons. The current market purchase price is 600~800 yuan/t, and 1hm2 output value is 60,000~82,500 yuan. Retail price is 1000~1200 yuan/t, if self-produced and sold, the output value of 1hm2 can reach 105,000 to 120,000 yuan. The stock is listed during the Spring Festival, and the price is even more expensive. Su Mengzhen He Mengling planted fruit cane 0.028hm2 in 1997, with a total output of 3.6t, an output value of 2880 yuan, and an investment of 317 yuan, a net profit of 2563 yuan, equivalent to 128.55t per 1hm2, an output value of 103,000 yuan, and a net profit of 92,000 yuan. In 1998, it planted 0.034hm2, with a total output of 4.58t, an output value of 3389.2 yuan, a total investment of 378 yuan, and a net profit of 3011.2 yuan. The economic benefits are very significant. Second, planting technology (1) The sandy loam with high topography, deep soil layer, fertile soil and convenient drainage and irrigation should be selected for site preparation. Site preparation requires deep plowing of 20-25cm so that the earth can be protected against lodging. After ploughing, chop the smashed stalks and press the 1.5m row spacing to open the planting ditch. The ditch should be shallow and not deep. Basal fertilizer is mainly farmyard fertilizer, which is beneficial to improving quality. (2) As soon as possible, the next species of fruit cane is the same as local industrial cane. The next species should be sooner rather than later, and must be planted before the frost. Conditional can also be used to cover the spring planting seedlings, which can save the province and help increase production. Before the next seedling, 1hm2 was made up of 150kg of three-element compound fertilizer. The fertilizer was applied to the ditch and mixed with the soil. In the next species, the sugarcane shoots should be placed in one direction, with a single root, followed by 1hm2 with furan 45kg in the ditch, 1hm2 with barren 450-600kg covering the stems, and finally ridging with furrows. If covered with plastic film, it is more conducive to early emergence of seedlings and high yield. (3) Seedling management Due to the differences in species and climate, fruit cane emerges 15 days later than local industrial cane, and the top soil strength of fruit cane is weak. In early spring, the climate should pick up. 300kg of urine or 150kg of urea is poured on the water to promote early emergence and strong seedlings, laying the foundation for high yields. When the seedlings are 3 to 4 leaves, they are chased once more as described above. When the seedling height is 35cm, the topdressing fertilizer is divided into 1hm2 and 375kg of sugar cane BB fertilizer and 45mg of carbofuran are used to mix and apply the ditches. After the application, the soil is cultivated and the soil is treated with Dua or Acetochlor for chemical weeding. If fruiting cane is ineffective, weeding should be done in time to avoid consumption of nutrients. In general, 8 to 10 seedling stems with robust and uniform seedlings are grown on every 1m of ridge surface, and 75,000 to 90000 effective stems per 1hm2 remain. (IV) Application of joint fertilizers In early July, fruit cane began to be jointed. During the jointing period, fruit cane has the greatest demand for fertilizer and water, and it is the most sensitive. At this time, joint fertilizer should be reused. General 1hm2 manure 600kg, cake manure 750 ~ 1500kg, sugar cane BB kg 750kg, carbofuran 60kg, after the application of large soil, and then use Dua or acetochlor for chemical weeding again. In early August, 1hm2 of 300kg of sugarcane BB fertilizer was applied to the base of the cane stalks to clear the silt. The fruit cane is afraid of dryness and afraid of earthworms. After soil is cultivated, the soil should be kept moist. If there is no rain and drought, half ditch water should be poured to allow the water to infiltrate the ridge surface. (five) timely peeling leaves and fruit canes, internodes short, wide blade, easy to form a shaded state, affecting agricultural operations, but also easy to provoke trouble. After the soil is cultivated, 3~4 leaves of the bottom of the cane stem begin to yellow, and the leaves can be peeled off when the upper part of the leaf tip separates from the stem. Every leaf with yellow leaves is stripped once. The last stripping should be carried out 15 days before harvest, and all leaves below the tender section of the fruit cane should be stripped off, prompting the upper nodes to turn old and mature. Cultivation practices show that: After peeling the leaves, the cane can facilitate ventilation, reduce pests and diseases, and make the skin glossy and shiny. The value of the commodity is significantly improved. (6) Hormone promotes long fruit stalks weighing more than 2kg in stems, more than 1.5m in effective consuming length, and 3.5cm in diameter as the best sales. Failure to meet this standard makes it difficult to obtain satisfactory economic returns even if high yields are obtained. According to the field investigation, the number of natural growth nodes for the northward movement of fruit cane is 20 to 25 knots, and the natural growth length for the internodes is 2 to 2.5 cm and the effective height is 0.8 to 1 m. If there is sufficient fertilizer and water, the number of sections is relatively reduced and internodes are prolonged. On the contrary, the number of sections is increased and the number of internodes is shortened. According to this rule, the use of hormones to promote longevity is an important measure to seize the high quality of the fruit sugarcane. In early July, when the cane stems were 30 to 50 cm high and the stem sections were 3-5 knots, 1 hm2 was sprayed with “Nine O” 15 g and “Yunda 120” 75 ml water 750 kg. After every 20d, 1hm2 is sprayed with “90” 30g plus “cloud 120?” 150ml water 750kg, until the end of September, a total of 4? 5 times. (vii) Harvesting Seeds are harvested in early November and before the onset of frost. At the time of harvest, roots were cut up, fibrous roots were cut off, cane tips were cut, and they were sold. Fruiting cane must not suffer from frost, and the selection of moderate stems, full of sugarcane buds and cane culms damaged by pests must be selected. The roots of the fruit cane are strong in germination, and the shoots are weak in germination. Take care not to bump the root cane buds during digging. If it is planted in spring, fill a layer of soil in the cane ditch, put a layer of cane seed, cover a layer of 7cm thick soil, and stack 4-5 layers so that the top layer is covered with more soil to make the turtle turtle back. Shape, and then cover the seal with agricultural film, can be planted after the spring. (8) Pest control The fruit cane is used exclusively for human consumption. If the pests are not effectively controlled, the food value and market competitiveness will be lost. Pest control must not be paralyzed, and locust control should be applied once and only when small and large soils are used. Outside Dan, pesticides should be sprayed again according to pest information. Carbofuran has a good effect on the control of aphids, low labor intensity, time saving and labor saving. The disadvantage is that the cost is high. The prevention and control of other pests such as cottonworms and moths is the same as that of local industrial cane.
