To improve the survival rate of puppies with good five levels

When rabbits are born, they are completely hairless and have underdeveloped thermoregulation abilities. This makes them highly sensitive to environmental temperatures. If the temperature is too high or too low, it can lead to serious health issues or even death. Therefore, it's crucial to maintain a stable and optimal temperature of 20°C to 25°C during this critical period. The second important stage is nursing. The mother’s colostrum is rich in proteins, vitamins, and most importantly, immune antibodies. These antibodies play a vital role in strengthening the newborns’ immune systems. Puppies that receive sufficient colostrum early on are more likely to develop strong immunity, resist diseases better, and have lower mortality rates. As the rabbits grow, they enter the third phase: weaning from milk. By the time they are about 12 days old, their nutritional needs increase rapidly. At this point, breast milk alone is no longer enough. Starting from day 13, they should be introduced to soft, easily digestible foods such as fresh grass and vegetables. Gradually, high-quality commercial feed can be added to their diet to support their growth. The fourth phase is weaning. Young rabbits are typically weaned between 30 to 35 days of age. During this time, they should be fed small portions of easily digestible, nutrient-rich forage. It's also important to keep them in small groups—two to four per cage—to reduce stress and promote healthy social development. Finally, disease prevention is essential. Common diseases affecting young rabbits include coccidiosis, pasteurellosis, and rabbit fleas. These illnesses can spread quickly and cause high mortality if not addressed promptly. Regular vaccinations, proper nutrition, and good hygiene practices are key. Daily cleaning of the rabbit hutch and cages, along with regular disinfection, helps maintain a healthy environment and prevents the spread of infections. By carefully managing these five stages, rabbit breeders can significantly improve the survival rate and overall health of their young rabbits.
