To improve the survival rate of puppies with good five levels

One is born without fur. Rex rabbits are born hairless, with underdeveloped thermoregulation abilities. If the ambient temperature is too high or too low, they can easily die. Therefore, it's crucial to maintain an optimal temperature of 20°C to 25°C during this critical period. The second stage is nursing. In addition to providing essential proteins and vitamins, the mother’s colostrum is rich in immune antibodies. Newborn rabbits that consume enough colostrum will have stronger immunity, better resistance to diseases, and a lower mortality rate. The third phase is transitioning from milk to solid food. Rabbits grow rapidly and their nutritional needs increase quickly. By the time they open their eyes at around 12 days old, breast milk alone isn't sufficient. Starting from day 13, you should introduce small amounts of soft, easily digestible green grasses and vegetables, gradually introducing high-quality mixed feed as they mature. The fourth step is weaning. Pups are typically weaned between 30 to 35 days of age. At this point, they should be fed small, easily digestible, and nutrient-rich forage. It's best to keep two to four rabbits per cage to avoid overcrowding and reduce stress. The fifth and most important aspect is disease prevention. Common diseases affecting young rabbits include coccidiosis, pasteurellosis, and rabbit fleas. These illnesses can lead to high mortality rates if not addressed promptly. To prevent them, it's essential to implement vaccination programs, provide proper supplements, and maintain clean living conditions. Regular cleaning of the rabbit house and cages, along with routine disinfection, is also vital to ensure a healthy environment for the animals.
