Mulberry meal

Scientific name Crisicoccus moricola Tang, 1989. Homoptera, whitefly family. Distributed in Baotou.

The main sang.

After being damaged, the damaged mulberry leaves are curled, shrinking, and the fruit is shrinking and falling. In severe cases, the whole tree vigor is weak, and it is vulnerable to pests and diseases.

Morphological characteristics The female body is elliptical, 1.68 mm long and 1.25 mm wide. Antennae 8 knots, about 0.29mm long. 3 pairs of well-developed feet, after the foot base section has bright holes, no claw teeth. The front and back holes are obvious. Abdominal umbilicus is located between the 3-4 abdominal section of the web. Anal ring developed, 6 ring hairs. There are evenly distributed trigeminal glands on the body dorsal and ventral plates. The glands are divided into large and small glands. They are distributed on the edges of the dorsal and ventral plates and are distributed on the entire back and web. 6 pairs of puncture groups are limited to the abdomen. The back and ventral surfaces of this species are covered with ducts. There are hardened rods on the ventral surface of the tail valve. The egg is long and oval, 0.3mm long and 0.1mm wide. Yellowish at the time of first production and pale brown at hatching. Nymph nymphs were hatched and nymphs were long oval, light brown, 0.5 mm long and 0.2 mm wide. Sexually active, there is a small amount of white powder, tentacles 8 knots. The second instar larvae were reddish-brown, with a length of lmm and a width of 0.6mm; they began feeding on a fixed basis and were heavily pollinated. After eating, they began to crawl again.

Living habits occurred in Baotou area in 1 year and wintered in oocysts with eggs and second-instar nymphs. Every year in late April, the nymphs begin to move and climb to the twigs for feeding; in early June they are adult stages, the spawning period is 3-5 days, and the eggs hatch at the end of June. In early July, the second instar nymphs are transferred to the leaves for feeding. In mid-August, the adult lays eggs, and then feeds on the leaves after hatching until it is overwintering in the oocysts where the second-instar nymphs migrate to the branchlets in late September. The whitefly's eggs are produced in powdery white oocysts, each of which spawns 100-150 eggs. After about 6 days of egg hatching, the newly hatched nymphs were more active and crawled to the twigs or the back of the leaves. The white nymphs appeared 2-3 days after the newly hatched nymphs. The speculation has the habit of feeding young leaves, and the nymphs do not feed the old leaves. Female adults die after laying eggs. The nymphal period is generally 50-60 days and the adult period is 10-12 days.
