Pomegranate trees will cause cracking and rot if they encounter rainy and humid weather during the mature period, which will seriously affect their quality. The author introduces the preventive measures as follows:
1. Reasonable water control During the growth and development season, timely and reasonable watering should be performed to keep the soil moist and the temperature suitable to promote cell division. In the near-mature period, as long as it is not too dry, watering is generally not required; when the drought is severe, pay attention to pouring small water and avoid flooding. In case of rainy days, remove water in time. After the rainy season, the pomegranate garden should be covered with grass to control temperature and moisture.
2. Complementing high-energy calcium In the early fruit-expansion period in early August, 0.5% calcium chloride solution was sprayed on the fruit surface once a week and sprayed three times, which can effectively improve the peel toughness and crack resistance.
3. Spray urea in mid-August, choose no wind at about 17 o'clock in the afternoon, the tree sprayed 0.3% urea, once a week, even spray three times.
4. Bagging anti-cracking bag before spraying big M-45 fungicide 800 times or 20% chlormethrin Emulsion 2000 times, eliminate pomegranate fruit germs and peach aphid, peach borer pests and other pests and diseases.
5. Hormone treatment From late July to early August, tapes of 10 to 30 mg/l gibberellin solution were applied to the pomegranate fruit pods and used simultaneously. 25 mg/litre of gibberellin sprayed on the fruit surface can effectively reduce cracking.
